I moved to London chasing possibility and stayed to build it.
Over the past decade, I've sat on both sides of the table. As an investor, trying to make sense of fragmented data and instinct dressed up as conviction and as a founder, trying to build something real inside systems full of bias and noise.
That dual lens made the gaps impossible to ignore.
Less than 0.3% of venture capital goes to women of colour.
Founders are still judged on storytelling, not traction.

I stopped waiting for someone else to build the fix.

The next version of askRIA goes further. We’re building investor intelligence: a profile of how each investor evaluates a deal, including their thesis, red flags, and decision rules. Over time, RIA learns to triage opportunities the way they would, so attention goes only where it matters.
